We have several exciting things planned for the meeting:

Go Team Update: Less than 50 days until the election!  Nothing is more important than making sure people get to the polls.  Our fabulous Go Team will let you know how you can help make that happen.  

Labor 101: Is it a coincidence that median real wages across our economy stagnated at the same time that union membership declined over the past thirty years?  

Emiliana Sparaco of SEIU 221 will give us an overview of how labor organizing works today, why unions are important to people who aren’t in unions, and how we can work together to advance our Democratic Goals.

Yes on MM: Gee Wah Mok one of the campaign chairs for Yes on MM 2018 will speak about the group and share why they think the Del Mar Union School Bond is important for our area schools.

Local School Board Candidates:  Several local school board candidates will be joining us and giving very brief introductions.  These include Solana Beach school board candidates Gaylin Allbaugh, Debra Schade, Vicki King, Del Mar Unified Candidates Doug Rafner, Gee Wah Mok and finally San Dieguito board candidates Kristin Gibson, Amy Flicker, Rhea Stewart.
