On March 17, 2025 we will be meeting at the beautiful new Pacific Highlands Ranch Library's Community Room.

And we have a great meeting to start out with: journalist John Mattes will come and speak with us about Project 2025.  One of our members recently saw him speak at another Democratic Club and highly recommended him. From his webite, https://johnmattes.com/:

John Mattes is an American investigative journalist who has won 5 Emmys, one Golden Mike award, one Edward R Murrow award and 10 press club awards for exposing fraud and corruption in government.

Mattes holds an advanced degree in Communication Research from the University of Wisconsin and a law degree from the University of Miami. 

We will also try to broadcast the meeting over Zoom.  Since this is our first meeting in the new space we can't promise that it will be perfect, although the community room at the Pacific Highlands branch is much higher tech than the Carmel Valley branch so fingers crossed it will go smoothly.
